Why use the term ISOM?

So if someone grew tobacco and rolled them while living on Marathon Key, he could legitimately advertise them as "Handrolled ISOM Puros"

First time I saw those initials I thought it was some kind of missle nomenclature. When I found out what it stood for I thought, why just not call it a Cuban? I won't lose sleep over it, to each his or her own.
