They might have. This one will be in theaters thoug. You might have seen trailers for it on TV. They stirred up some controversy since they were a bit graphic and come at you with no warning.cvm4 said:
Apparently the victims families were more than happy to help the producers make the film as accurate as possbile...down to what the victims were wearing that day.

I have no desire to see the film, I already read what happened and that's enough for me to know. If it's on t.v. sometime I'll probably watch it.
I think it's an experience that needs to been seen.
I'm just torn on the fact that they just choose this one plane to glorify. Not to say they weren't all heros, but that tells me they wanted as much drama and theatrics as they could get. And what does that say about the vicitims on the other flights when the commercial says "4 planes took off that morning, 3 hit their target, 1 did not.. this is their story".

This is the only flight that we have recordings and phone converstaions from inside the plane...also, this was the only flight that the passengers fought back.Poni said:

Are you sure being on a plane headed towards a building was "anti-climatic"? I'm pretty sure what you meant was "wouldn't make as good of a movie." This movie is simple a way for a some people to make a few bucks, and a poor way IMO.Wasch_24 said:

Anti-Climatic as in we know exactly how it ended.
I haven't ever heard anything about phone calls from the other planes.
I would think they chose this flight to make a movie of because they have more details of this flight to base the screenplay on.
Of course the real reason this one was chosen is becaue the occupants caused the crash instead of the highjackers...definitely a bigger money maker.
If anyone thinks this movie isn't being made to make a profit they need to wake up...of course that is why it is being made.

I think that there is a time and a place for this..... For those that are not "connected" directly to the tradgedy I think that it is time, but obviously I think that others will believe that it is to early..... We all need a reminder of these events and that is sad, something like this should stay on our minds each and every day....
