But IMHO, you don't NEED to line the entire thing in SC if you're storing the cigars in boxes. I do have SC shelves, and a couple of blocks of solid SC sitting around here and there, but no lining at all.

I agree...I think that actually lining it (while very cool!) would probably be overkill and you'd lose some space to boot. I'm happy with shelves and the bottom layer, plus the boxes themselves of course.

With a 12 bottle cooler, I'd think that space would be at a premium and I don't think I'd add a lot of thick pieces. Are you keeping the wire shelves in, or removing them and just stacking the boxes?

BTW, Sheep's numbers are identical to mine...once the RH settled, it has stayed locked at 66% on the top shelf and 64% at the bottom. I rarely open this cooler though, so everything in there is napping just fine.
