usually in the 20's here this time of year, really crappy but I still make the pilgrimage out to the garage to sit infront of the space heater lol. If it hits 45 with sun, its time to spark one up out front in a t shirt and shorts :p

... No I'm not kidding lol

Lol, I wish I could go outside, but I don't know anyone who would be outside smoking a stogie for more than 10 minutes in -20 weather...ANYONE....ANYONE...? I work outside most of the time, so spending any more time just sitting around in it is not my first choice. I need a man-cave for sure, or just put that furnace in the garage to heat it. :frownno:

It's -5 outside right now. What gets me is all :cbig:the clothes you put on insulates you from your cigar. Smoking with gloves (for me anyway) is clumsey. As a newbie I got back into cigars this summer so it took a while for it to dawn on me that Winter limited my smoking time. I have a corner in the garage that made up with a comfy chair, coffee table, lamp, and kerosene heater. It just takes a little planning for me to relax with a cigar. So, next Summer I'm gonna build a 10'X12' "house" that will have a small wood stove and lighting from kerosene lamps. The only thing better than enjoying a good cigar is smoking with others. I'm off to crank up the kerosene heater. Happy New Year everyone.

I was cold smoking outside at the car wash. It was 45 and too cold for me....lol I guess I am spoiled in Southern California. Much colder than this and I don't think I would have enjoyed it.

I started up a new hobby *pipe smoking* To combat the winter weather. Just had my first Cigar of the winter yesterday. Sparked up a Rocky Lite I had from a sampler, wasn't the best stick but it did the trick. It felt good to fire one up after a stretch, it's between 20-30 degrees in Philly. Been thinking real hard about getting a pair of gloves just for smoking, but my pipes have been holding me over so maybe, maybe not...:dunno:...can't wait till the spring:crytears:.

Agreed. In living near Chicago late spring to early fall calls for the smoking of some more Coronas (like the Tat quad I had last night) and shorts and small figurados. If I didn't smoke if ti was under 50..... that would limit me to like 2.75 months of smokin weather. Man up!

Coldest ive smoked outside this year was 20*, NEVER AGAIN. Might I repeat myself, NEVER AGAIN. I give you huge props for being able to take the cold, but if I am unable to feel my hands its way too cold to enjoy a smoke to the extent I desire.

Like Zombieland says, you've gotta nut up or shut up. Not letting the cold prevent me from smoking. However, if I had the options many people here have, I would be doing the same.

Yeah it has been cold as a bitch here. As my first winter as a cigar smoker... it sucks. I can only smoke outside and at B&Ms, and I usually only get a chance to smoke after all the shops are closed (at night)... My smoking has gone from like 1 a day to 1 a week if I'm lucky since it got cold. Sucks.
Same here. However, I spent the holidays in FLA and went thru a bunch of my sticks whilst there in the "warmer" temps. I say "warmer" cuz it was pretty cold for a couple days down there. I think SWFL had record low temps one or two nights. Anyway, now that I'm back up north my cigar time has dropped way off again. Bummer! :ccowboy:
