  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

you have a modem, and then to distribute that to more than one computer you have a router. So more than one computer can use the same router.
Ditto,,,we have our main desktop in the library and we run two laptops in the other parts of the house with no issues.

Well it worked...

...somewhat. Anyone trying to acces the wireless Linksys on the south side of the house has to use a password, however the north side is still unprotected. Since the Buffalo is wired directly into a LAN port of the Linksys anyone trying to access it gets in. I have to set the same password for the Buffalo but I can't access the settings screen for some reason. I keep getting a can't connect prompt. I'm thinking that it's because I have it set as a switch. Time to call Buffalo technical support.

Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated.
