Damn, I keep getting told that I should remove em, but they don't seem to bother me much. The dentist claims that they will keep moving somehow and I will eventually keep biting my lip when I chew... I guess if it comes to that.

You lucky enough to have it covered under medical insurance? In my case that would be free, but dental I have to pay ~30% which still adds up to alot.

I have to pay 20% but that eats up pretty much all of my dental expenses.

They've grown in but are taking up a bit too much room (ones grown slightly angled) and he said it is best to get them taken out.

If they're in it shouldn't be too much work, I had 2 impacted wisdom teeth removed. They drug you up nice!! :innocent:

I had mine for almost six years...then I got a cavity in one and he yanked them.

My wife had all four pulled in one day in the Army and the were not grown in...she was seriously effed up for a few.

While I was in the Army, we heard horror stories about the dentists there.

I have one out, but my two bottom ones that are still in are growing completely at a 90 degree angle to the rest of my teeth..totally sideways.

I barely remember any details of the actual removal part because i was drugged up on valium and I had an IV in. If your wisdom teeth are impacting the teeth in front of them, then I'd get them taken out. I was too late in taking mine out and 1 had already impacted a tooth. Needless to say all 4 wisdom teeth were cut out and I had to have a root canal on the impacted tooth. Fun stuff

Oh and root canals aren't that bad either. I don't know why everyone thinks they are. The problem I was having at the dentist was the type of numbing solution they were using. Only 1 kind didn't make me natious, and after they figured that out then I rarely ever got queezy in the chair.

Yea, one is very slightly impacted, almost vertical but it's pusing one tooth a bit. He said I'll be getting the laughing gas and a valium IV. I should be as high as a kite when he's done.

Yea, I will. I'm doing it on a Friday so I can rest up all weekend watching movies in bed.

Had mine taken out when I was in high school - not fun. Methods have probably changed a lot since then, though. They had to drill through bone, shatter the tooth, then pull the pieces out through the hole. Just remember it seemed to never want to stop bleeding.

Mine are still in, then again I'm only 20. They grew in just fine and I use them quite regularly... They sure are a bitch to floss though.

Both kids had all four pulled. One or two tough days, that was it. The bad news is no tobacco till the holes heal.:disappoin
