I have however flown the shuttle simulator before. I pulled it off like a champ!
I have flown countless simulators in my life, but the one I had the most fun with was an old 727 sim. For lack of a better term, it was analog. Basically, a box on actuators that moved said box in relation to your control movements. Anyhow, the way it projected your runway and terrain was to have a camera on cables and pulleys over a "map" of sorts. It was a bitch when that thing went off track, but when you had a bunch of mechanics, it was a blast.

The first time I "flew" on that sim, my lead found a roach and stuck a pin through it at the end of the runway. Imagine my surprise when I came across a 30ft roach (perspective) when I was about to lift off.

Derailment over.

Congrats on passing & the endorsements!

If you plan on going OTR, its a great way to see the country & get experience. If thats your plan, check out Conway Truckload, they are a very good company to work for. Good luck with it!

I am pretty sure this wont happen as I know you are trying to have more family time. But if you do they are based in Joplin. Just saying.
