This isn't brand new to me, but it's my latest purchase: The Belicoso from the Drew Estate Tsuge line. Interesting design, and a good smoke!

(Sorry for the potato quality, their picture added for clarity)

I was looking at these a while back. Are they any good? Do you have a falcon? If so, how does it compare?

I really like it, but I'll be the first to admit I'm not the most educated on good pipes. I like the fact that it has the cap that you can unscrew from the base and place on the bowl if you need to, though I'm still looking for a wind cover they supposedly have. In the same vein, since it has a metal ring around the top of the bowl, I never have to worry about charring it (not that that's a problem I have, but it's nice not to have to worry about it). The bowl is a nice hunk of wood, well carved and feels solid. I'm not sure that it's a problem with the other models, but this bowl does perhaps feel a bit hot when smoking. I've been told by my pipe guy that it's fine, especially since I'm smoking mainly aromatics, but I worry a little.
All in all, I'm a fan, but I worry that should something break, I might be a little screwed with DE's new ownership, but I have some pipe maker friends who could hook a brother up.

As far as having a Falcon, I don't and haven't had one, but someone told me about them yesterday, and they seem pretty cool!

Just received my tobacco order today
Dunhill 965, all the frog mortons, navy flake and Virginia flake just like Christmas all over again.
Missus had one sniff of the dunhill in the tin and said"your not smoking that near me " lol
965 is one of my favorites. If you like it, engine 99 is a really good blend from C&D that is much cheaper.

Lol I just realized I have 24 pipes and not one of them is a Peterson or other name brand! Lol all are cobs, estates or customs!
See @CaptainRon ! Plenty of pipers pleading for Petersons! Lol that was a little more of a tongue twister than I intended.
