Wow, promo packs gone after 8 minutes! Oh well, if they get more promo packs I'll get the bundle of these ... the 5 extra sticks put it over the edge to be worth the blind buy for me, otherwise no.

First, a thank you to the good folks at NHC, who collaborated with JD on getting this smaller sized and somewhat stronger MUWAT made. Nice packing, too. Good to see that some people still care about their customers.
I fired my first Bait Fish on Saturday afternoon. Described it to a friend as a mini-LP9. He thought it might taste like the dirty rat, but I told him that perhaps the first third did, -- a little, -- but the second third of it had more fullness and power. It was stronger than the 60 ring MUWATs out there, but it wasn't a head-banger. More fullness on the flavor than on the power. Great taste right through the nub and it never hot hot.
It's a fine smoke and well worth the scratch, -- even without the promo pack, which was over the top generous. These will be great 30 to 40 minute sticks for me to hit in dark of winter. I know that the swell JDN hat they threw in will come in real handy in my next career as a busboy, leaf blower, dish washer or ladron! Thanks!

Have not smoked the MUWAT yet but just finished a Bait Fish. What a little flavor bomb it is. The last third had some kick to it which added to the experience. Great job on that one DE and Dan! I see more of those in the humi very soon!
