This year was a good one for me! My daughter got me 2 new cook books, "The Homesick Texan Cookbook" and "Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day". My son got me a new pressure cooker and my wife totally killed me with a sweet panini press and an 8 piece Henckel set of knives.

A nice warm water/wind-proof fleece jacket/gloves/balaclava set for our trip up to Saporo in Feb for the Ice Festival. Some nice chocolates, socks, softball mitt. Also a Playstatuon Move setup w/ gun controller and several PS3 games:
Uncharted 3
Call of Duty MW3
Goldeneye 007
God of War: Origins
Sports Champions (Move)

For myself, I bought a box of JL#2s and a box and a half of Opus (pics when they arrive!).

Some Snowshoes and a Patio Heater.
Nice gift, got one last year. Not bad for those calm nights in the early spring or fall. Any wind and they're useless outdoors. If you can rig up some sort of windscreen these things are tits but they eat up propane like crazy. Perfect for gazebos or screened in patios.

Wife got me an Iphone 4S....and my 5 year old made what was easily one of my favorite, if not thee favorite for sentimental purposes.....which was a calender he'd crafted in Kindergarten where each month he'd used the outline of his hand to paint & make the shape of month appropropriate symbols (Leprechaun for March, Tree for December etc.), and there was a nice little poem or story to go along with the pictures. Very creative and looked like he'd spent several weeks in class working on it.

It was a great Christmas.

Whiskey stones are squared granite stones that are used to chill Whiskey and not make the libation watery, as would be caused from ice. Place them in the freezer and cold whiskey/Scotch.

I got to spend Xmas with my daughter skiing. Was a good time. Parents bought me new irons and gave me money!

Cash and checks, a new pair of my favorite moccasins, COD:MW3 and Madden 12 for my PS3, Hangover 2 on Blu-Ray, a new "Secret Service" style 2-way radio surveillance earpiece/mic for work, more of my favorite black dress pants for work as well, but the coolest gift I've got was my custom made necklace that was nearly destroyed in an accident to the point I stopped wearing years ago, my mother had a jeweler fix it and recondition it to all new and shiny for me. I haven't taken it off since.

And then yesterday I took some of my cash and went to the B&M for the first time is well over a month and bought a box worth of great sticks as my gift to myself.

My granddaughter gave me a gift certificate to my local B&M. There was a really cool MacBook Air case, and several things that will likely be exchanged. My dad gave me a bday/giftmas combo-gift card for a Line-X spray on bedliner.

Nice bottle of scotch, chocolates, and the little woman is having a remote start/alarm system installed in my truck for me. Now when it's 9 degrees outside, I can start the truck and warm it up from the comfort of my trailer! Oh yeah....gifted myself a BOTL travel humi.
