out there
I got everything I need to get back into brewing this year. I got a primary fermenter and a glass carboy for a secondary fermenter. A Bottling bucket, and all the other necessary accessories as well as a propane burner and a 22 quart and 30 quart brew pots. My first brew day is this Friday. Gonna start off with an amber ale from a kit to get re-acclimated with the process. I have already started ordering ingredients a-la-carte so I can start working on my own recipes next.

Good Christmas here. Received lots of nice gifts including:

Cash, Checks and Best Buy Gift Cards
Tickets to 3 NY Islander Games, $60 in food vouchers and an autographed puck
Samsonite rolling mobile office (MUCH NEEDED)
Gift Cert to my local B&M

Money and gift cards are going toward a Nikon D5000 DSLR (I'd be willing to trade a Toshiba Thrive tablet for one as well).

The wife and I treated each other with a 55" LED HDTV and a Blu-Ray. Dear Lord, I had no idea what I had been missing. I also got a box of my favorite LG T-52's among other things.

Wife and I generally do not get gifts for each other. We concentrate on the kids. we are both the type that if we want / need something we just buy it. But the kids defiantly got spoiled.

We also make it more about the kids. We also help out a needy family every year so it limits what we can do. But overall, I did OK.

I received a bout 50 sticks from friends & family. Mostly Viaje and Ashton. Also received several bottles of beer. Firestone Walker XV, Abyss among others. Some golf shirts and Hangover 2 on Bl-Ray. The best gift of all was health and happiness for my family again this year. My wife & daughter have had it tough in the past. So if we can make it through the year with nothing major, that is always a blessing.

a speeding ticket (first one in 23 years), a 2:30 wake up call from the police and spending the next 5 hours looking for my estranged soon to be 17 year-old daughter. :timebomb:

Got a lot of gifts for the 3 month old daughter. 5 year old son made out like a bandit. He has no idea what to do with so many toys. We put half of them away so that we can replace the ones he gets bored with without major spending. He got a Nintendo 3DS and a few games. Countless Star Wars toys and random Nerf junk. My special gift to him was some still in the box Star Trek Micro Machines. He loves them so I doubled the amount he had.

The wife and I bought some Motorola Photon's for eachother. She also got me a Xikar 10 count travel humidor and a La Gloria Cubana Limitada 2004 humidor. She knows I love LGC so she just bought it. I might use it for a dry box....not sure. Just happy to have it! She also bought me a survival knife that has a flash light and fire steel built into it. Pretty sweet.

Same as Grandpa Larry, except it was watching both my daughters 1 & 3 open gifts together and of course me getting to put everything together.

A $50 gift card to a local golf store and my MIL actually went to a B&M and purchased me a few cigars - Rocky Patel (thought that counts).

Most importantly got to spend two days with the whole family.

Let's see, some ny giants gear from my old man, fire pit from my mother. The old lady got me a weather station, kick ass griddle for oven/bbq use, cookbook called Homemade and I think that's about everything....

Stopped by my parent's on the way home from the in-laws and my dad gave me a bottle of Glenlivet 18. Gonna crack open the bottle in 30 minutes when I'm finally home from all this holiday traveling

Some Snowshoes and a Patio Heater.
Nice gift, got one last year. Not bad for those calm nights in the early spring or fall. Any wind and they're useless outdoors. If you can rig up some sort of windscreen these things are tits but they eat up propane like crazy. Perfect for gazebos or screened in patios.
Great, not good to hear!?! I got a patio heater myself and it can definitely be windy in my area! :(
