My Mom does mosaic artwork. I gave her an old desktop humi a long time ago and some images of cigar art that I liked. I forgot she had it and this is what she suprised me with on Christmas. The color isn't a match but I still love it!

I received a guitar cab setup from the girlfriend (Definitely a keeper), some socks and boxers. Her parents bought us a new Samsung led tv. Shibby! And the girlfriend's bro and his wife paid for a massage for me, so the girlfriend and I could be together on Christmas. (She is a massage therapist.)
Oh, and the roomie bought me a nice cigar ashtray! No more using cigarette ashtrays!

My big gifts were my nook Color and my Invicta Bolt Reserve. I also got some clothes including a high quality Iowa Hawkeyes jersey. Not a cheap WalMart one.
Are you a Hawkeye fan?? That's cool... my wife is from the Quad Cities, and is an Iowa grad. She was NOT happy Friday night with their junior college performance against OU. :disappoin

What all I got for Christmas:

Her parents bought us a cool fold up fire bowl thing.
I got a bunch of books... "Ratio" and "Making of a Chef" by Michael Ruhlman, "Ideas in Food", "How to Brew" by John Palmer (been thinking about homebrewing), "The Family Meal" by Ferran Adria, a very cool Bento box cookbook to go with the Bento Box and sauce containers my wife got me; an Aeropress coffee setup, with the stainless steel filter disk, a 3.5L deep fryer, a new Chefs Mat for the kitchen... sweet, very cushiony, and durable, a heat sensitive mug with a pic of my son and I being silly all over it, it makes the pics show up with hot liquids in it, from my son. I also got some boxers LOL, a new car stereo, some new shoes, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. cd. Uhm... I think that is all. We also got a few games for the Wii, including the limited edition Super Mario All Stars, with all the old versions of Super Mario Brothers. Oh, and my son and I got a gummy creepy crawlers making kit... LOL

I absolutely love my Aeropress. I'd recommend getting an Aerolatte milk frother as well so you can make lattes/cappuccinos.

As for me, I got a 6 qt slow cooker, which I've already used twice, some nice casual clothes (sweaters, etc.), and a biography of Mao that is really fascinating.

No presents for me because the wife and I don't exchange presents, and we tell our parents to spend money on the kids, not us.

Still had a great Christmas with the family, though.

No presents for you? Maybe that should be fixed.

Bottle of 18 year Jameson, bottle of Woodford Reserve, $125 to Holt's and an Ashton Sampler. Also got a bottle of 17 year Macallan but I'm not much of a Scotch guy.

And of course, my fiance ordered me a set of drawers from Forrest! (thread in storage forum)

My loverly hubby :togetherl got me a new coffee pot that does everything but sing & dance! I'm actually grateful now that the old 1 broke! It has auto-brew (of coarse), auto clean, strength control & even a digital display telling you to the minute how old the coffee is & automatically turns it off after 2 hrs... If it was truly intelligent, it would realize that REAL caffeine addicts are perfectly willing 2 drink coffee more than 2 hrs old. LOL.
I bought him, among other things, The LE Viaje Holiday Blend, 1 Shot 1 Kill pre-release, Montecristo Operation Hope Sampler, Room 101 LE Brass Knuckle Cutters, Montecristo Samurais in both straight cut & wedge...
But the big winner this year was the 2 yr old 5 ft ball python that my 7 yr old immediately dubbed Montezuma...
