Is that some Pete love I see there??

I'm not suprised at all, about the RP. It got a lot of hype, and CA loves them some Rocky.

Padron... in my opinion... always deserved. So, we gonna see 2 Padron's up there, then?

While I like Cabiaguan and PAM '64, they are somewhat odd choices to me. Not odd as in bad, but odd as in, well...odd.

And of course RP would be in the top 10! LOL

freakin Patel, really? I could think of 100 cigars I'd smoke before that
Have you smoked the 15th? I haven't, but I've heard good things.

I called the Cabaiguan and I think the only reason it seems "odd" to some of you is that it's been out for years and we all tend to give priority to newer cigars--I know I do. With all the great new Tats these days I sometimes forget the classics, and the Guapos is a classic cigar to me.

As to the PAM, I say well deserved. Always a fantastic cigar, though I'd have gone for the Principe.

I do wonder if this means there won't be a Padron in the Top 5 ... what would be a first for as long as I've been keeping track.

Bloggers, seriously? Most of them are pompous douche bags.

I rely on reviews from people I know who have similar palates to mine, not some blow hard from the internet who I don't know from the next guy and could be a worse taster than the people at CA. Every year people get all worked up over the CA ratings, it looks like they are doing a great job at what they do and will sell many cigars for their advertisers!
Yes bloggers, seriously. What I said is that I think most of us pay more attention to bloggers and forums than to CA, and I think that's true. Of course I wasn't condoning listening to every yahoo with a keyboard and a cigar, but there are some guys (mostly here) who's opinions I value much more than some magazine.

Cabaiguan Guapo < loves these things, smoke them by the box in 2011, surprised since it has been out for so long, but well deserved.

PAM - agree 100%

RP15 not surprised

I agree with Nate, Cabaiguan Guapos are great, underrated cigars. To my mind, it's actually the best regular production cigar Pete makes, so this is deserved IMHO. (I know a lot of folks will disagree with that.) I have been giving a lot of them away in bombs lately and probably need to buy another box soon!

Edit: Just realized this is the original Guapo. It's good, but I actually think the Guapo 46 is better. That's what I've been handing out like candy lately. :)

Great Guapo is a great stick. Though a couple years late and unavailble anymore. Would love to stumble onto a box of them.
