Have you tried the Seagram's 7 Dark Honey? I prefer it over the American Honey and as strange as it sounds, this cheap ~$20 fifth might just be my favorite alcohol ever.
I did not know that. I saw one by Evan Williams but that was it. It sounds really good. I will definitely check it out.

Got my first Remy Martin VSOP. So far like it better than the COURVOISIER VSOP that I had, its smoother and to me has a nice distinct Vanilla characteristic. Next purchase will probably go for my first XO, anyone have suggestions?

Oooo I wouldnt be the best to judge that. I have not had scotch or bourbon yet... I was going to head on to scotch after Cognac (first was wine). I would almost put it in class of good whisky, but still a different beast... Ha I know I was no help, not experience with other hard liquors though, guess you just got to try it

My local shop always closes a couple days on the New Year to do inventory. Then they do a Cellar Sale for the stuff they find the first day they open back up which was today... I am happy with my pick ups! There were a lot of other good stuff but I'm not into sours, barleys that much and some other things. I purposely don't drink much of those beers because I don't want to get sucked in like I have cigars!?!

- 2010 Bitches Brew (I've never even tried any, overhyped I know, but still wanted to try)
- 2009 LE Ivan the Terrible Imperial Stout, bottle 2158 of 3000
- 2010 Spring LE Stone Imperial Russian Stout
- 2010 Bourbon County Stout
- 2 Pliny the Elders

What store do you go to? Ive read that Pliny the Elder should be drank ASAP and starts dropping off after 2 weeks and gets worse from there. But none the less I have been wanting to try it after seeing it get the highest rating on beer advocate and you really cant find it at any grocery stores around here.

X1 6 pack Victory Yakima Glory
X2 6 pack Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale
X3 4 pack Founders Breakfast Stout

Couple things,
1) Missed the Sweetwater Happy Ending, delivery is tomorrow, might have to go back.
2) Has anyone had the Evil beers before from Brewdog/Denmark? They were not cheap!
3) Really happy to score more Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale and Breakfast Stout, I think all my locals are out:sadpace:. I'm going to have to ration this stuff now.

99 Bottles

2 weeks? Maybe if you were doing taste tests, but I would gladly take a 6 month old Pliny over almost any other IPA in its class. True you do want to drink them fresh though, but they don't come around all that often so I don't sweat needing to drink them asap.

Hate to do this but if any of you guys have a Total Wine near you, run don't walk lol. don't know about other states but in VA, they were in the midst of marking down all holiday seasonals. Had the Lagunitas Holiday Sucks ale for $3.99 a 6 er. Picked up a few with a few more Breakfast stouts and a couple of Founders Imperial Stout G1

Nickthepyro... IMO, you need to drink any IPA as quick as possible unless you have them in the fridge...
