I know this is an old thread but for some reason it would not let me reply to it. JR is selling these at a deep discount right now. Any new opinions of these smokes? think they are worth it? boxes as low as $50!
I agree with Gibby on this one! :cbig:If it is the old Pepin made ones they were quite good.
Frank Llaneza 1961 is one of my fav cigars.I agree with Gibby on this one! :cbig:
....and these are not...."Expertly handmade at the NACSA factory in Nicaragua with Frank Llanezas blend of perfectly aged 100% Cuban-seed long-filler tobaccos grown in the Jalapa Valley."
You hoard all the good stuff! :headroll:I still have a box of the Old Pepin made Troyas. Excellent sticks. No I am not selling them
I've never had that problem with JR's. I have been a customer for years. I get a daily email with specials , but that is about it.I have had one of the Non-Pepin ones and I thought it was a good stick.
Well worth $50 a box.
The only bad thing is that JR is selling them and once you buy something from them, they never leave you alone.
Don't get me started on Thompson... :cursing:I've never had that problem with JR's. I have been a customer for years. I get a daily email with specials , but that is about it.
Thompsons on the other hand ..................
Yeah. I still get Thompson catalogs and emails. They started when I signed up on another cigar forum. Which is odd because the email address I used for the registration for that site was used for that website ONLY, yet Thompsons some how got a hold of it... hmmm...Don't get me started on Thompson... :cursing:
It's not the emails that I'm talking about. I bought a box of Cosecheros a while back and some how got signed up for this cigar a month or something like that. Wellllll I received , I think, two bundles of their cigars and a letter thanking me for my sign up?Yeah. I still get Thompson catalogs and emails.
