Thoughts on the Oliva V lancero?

I am looking to pick up a box of V's and trying to decide which vitola. I am starting to really favor smaller cigars as they are quicker to smoke.

I love the lanceros, but I have a box of no.4 coronas which are fantastic quick smokes. Highly recommended

The lancero is one of my go to sticks. I absolutely love the V in the lancero. If looking for something quicker to smoke, the #4 is nice too. But I still think the lancero is the best in that line.

I smoke as many V lanceros as I do any other cigar. Consistently one of my favorite smokes, and even better with a little rest.

Just gotta be sure to smoke em slow, because they get nasty if they burn even a little hot!

I agree the lancero best in the series V line but the #4 is good as well.

They are all good in my opinion. I recently picked up a box of 12 robusto tubos. The tubes are a nifty design. I have heard more people compliment the lancero than any of the other V vitolas, however.

For a quick smoke, I'd go with the #4 as well....great smoke and not that expensive.

It's a great cigar. Not as strong or spicy as the regular Vs, but just as tasty. They smoke relatively fast for a lancero, a bit over an hour for me. They're also priced very well, even at retail.

Also!!! You can get V lanceros super cheap at the Spec's up there. $132 for a box of 36. That takes it down to less than $3.70/stick.

It is an incredible cigar. Smoking one now in fact. I love the other sizes too but the lancero is the best. For under 4 bucks a stick it is very hard to beat.

Harg is right. Spec's has great prices on all the oliva lines, plus they discount when you buy cash or debit. I also picked up a box of V lanceros, and a box of G torpedos for better than internet prices.

I just tried one yesterday and was interestingly enough underwhelmed. I love the larger sizes of this line and usually love smaller ring gauges, but this is the first exception I have found. I really found it to be less complex.

Hello and greetings from Germany.
This is my first post but here in Germany the people are not interested in aging non cuban cigars, so its hard to get informations about that.

So i´am aging an Box of the Oliva Serie V Double Robusto for now 2 years without the cello and i think there are getting really great now!
I´m thinking about to buy an Box Lanceros to age them too, are they aging great like e.g. Tatuaje?
