Evening Ladies and Gentlemen,
I recently purchased a Cigar Caddy 15ct. travel humidor. So far, so good.
My question for the community is for those who have one as well. I have not seen any type of recommendations regarding refilling the Humi cap at the top of the box. I live in what we call the "River Valley" and, well... its pretty humid outside. I like to keep my house a steady 68 - 70 degrees, and have some nice Honeywell air purifiers cleaning the house on both sides.
What do you guys (who have one or one similar) have scheduled to refill that cap? I am looking around online right now to find a decent (but small) Hygrometer so I can see what the levels really are in there. But it seems to me (And my untrained eye) that the cap is drying up fairly quickly.
Of course that has nothing to do with my infatuation with smelling the 4 stogies I have in there every other 2 hours........ (I know... Im breaking that habit).
If anyone has any suggestions as to their maintenance for one of these little guys, I sure would appreciate their 2 cents. I bought this, thinking I wasn't going to be aging a collection of cigars, but the itch is bad..... And im working on some CC's from a friend, so "ideally" I would like to age those in AT-LEAST a desktop Humi.
Regards,
-Chrisso
