Well, it is not, or they would be the same size :)

Here's the thing. Despite that fact that the Opus X Phantom (7x41) and the Opus X PL (6x39) are only one inch and on RGish difference, they have VASTLY different profiles. I am also assuming that the Black Label Lancero will be vastly different from the PL...
True, different flavor profiles, but if you took, ie, a regular lancero (7x41) and cut an inch off, it could be classified a petite lance, but would have the same(ish) profile is what I was getting at :p

I guess I smoked through my Tattoo's too fast. I was not that impressed with them, but they sound like they're doin pretty well now

Espana- I don't honestly know how much was the elusiveness vs the actual cigar. I do like the petite robusto better than the corana as well though which is against the espana code

I'm loving the Litto Gomex 2012 lancero right now

Torcido - yeah, I'm biased, but I was also smoking one as I opened this and the best cigar is always the one I'm smoking (unless I'm testing a new cigar, thenm all bets are off)

This is a REALLY hard question, as I am a big lancero lover. But I'll keep the list to just 3 (suck it, Craig!). I should also note that I've not yet had the BOTL lancero or an Opus X lancero, both of which I'm sure I'll love.

Casa Fuente Lancero -- one of my favorite cigars, period
Tatuaje Especiales -- wonderful cereal flavors, reminds me a lot of a CC
Padilla 1932 Lancero -- I can think of 6 or so other lanceros that I like more than this one. So why is it in the Top 3? Consistency and value. These are always yummy, and very cost-effective (much like the Oliva V, I just find these to be a bit more complex).

Not really a fan of the Lancero size, I like the rg, but the length is longer than I go after.

*edit* Realized that post didn't help anybody, lol.

The Oliva V is quite good, and I was recently PIF'd a HL that was the first HL that I enjoyed. What I meant from the above was, I think the cigars are fantastic, I just wish they were a little shorter. :)
