So I just read in the current issue of CA that landed on my lap today that tyou can buy a full barrel of JD. THe yield is 240-280 bottles. The product is the single barrel and the price is around $9000 if you pick it up yourself or up to $12,000 if you have them ship it to you. If they ship it, then they bottle it for you. My understanding is that if you go there personnally you can sample differnt barrels and they'll sell you th ewhole barrel.

I'm gonna start saving now!!!

I was up in Ontario Canada about 7 years ago and was so tempted to buy this oak cask of gibson's finest if i remember correctly. It was like 600$ and i wasn't 21 yet so getting into the states might have been tuff.

A full barrel would be really cool. That's allot of jack though.

Anyone got a lead on a tank of coke?

I'm from Texas, everything is coke...except Mt. Dew, which gets its own label...
Please sir. The Nectar of the Gods "Dr Pepper", Mt. Dew, and then everything else is "Coke".

A BOTL bottle of JD Whiskey would be a fantastic idea! I would buy a bottle or two. Might have to check in on shipping liquor to Arkansas though...... ? Hrmmm......

With me getting into bourbon over the last few months, I believe the all around best bang for your buck bourbon is wl weller 12 year. It is almost identical to the van winkle lot b 12 year. The good thing about the weller is a retail of $20 a bottle.

For 3 grand, I'll take a day and drive to Lynchburg, pick up the barrel, and then bottle it in "authentic Tennessee moonshine jars." I'll even print up some BOTL labels and adhere them to the jars. Just let me know. The barrel might attract some attention from law enforcement and onlookers as it will be tied down in the trunk of my civic.... but I'll get it done.

I want to see this done just so we can say there is nothing this forum cannot split. I would even be down for a bottle, and I don't even drink the stuff!
