I did the other day and all I could find was SSD/HD combos. Did I miss something?Depending on your price point. Check out Alienware. You can customize them for SSD and monster performance, but you'll pay for it.
Most manufactures now include the option to upgrade to an SSD drive. Make sure that you spec out a drive with a 6gb/sec transfer rate when you order. Beware of "Hybrid" drives that only have a SSD cache and conventional platters.
It should cost about $1 per GB of storage....500GB = $500.00 maybe a touch less.

This is definitely the truth.Build your own. Save an easy 1k$ plus. Its not hard to do. Everything is so plug and play now.
