Which now I just read and they are hiding behind the irrefutable evidence crap. WOWSaw that too. NO CLASS. And apparently the NFL is making a statement on the play today.Just saw an article on NFL.com that said Tate denies pushing off. Haha, jesus thats excellent.
this^^^and it was reviewable. Simultaneous catch is reviewable in endzone, not in field of play. So the fact that this could have been overturned is now even more of a clusterfck lol
Then why did they refer the call to the guy in the box to make the decision? There are so many people going over these rules that one NFL Ref who they bring in to advise says one thing...another person says another. The real thing is that it doesn't matter...the game is over but the debate continues. At the end of the day instant replay tells the story but the call was made by the last person to review it...the guy in the box and that was radio'd down to the ref in the white hat...game over and the Packers lost.it's actually not a review-able play.Nope,,,,read the rule on this and Jennings had possession of the ball....it was not simultaneous at all. The problem is that the call could have been reversed by the guy in the upstairs box
The point is what the Refs ARE asking for is not that much compared to the hundreds of billions that the NFL is raking in. Normally I would agree with you but proportionally it is such a small amount that the NFL IS AT FAULT. Just my .02I'm just sick of ppl blaming the NFL for not getting back the union refs, how about we blame the union refs for refusing to play without their demands. Should the NFL simply give them whatever the want? Let's say every ref wanted to be payed a billion a yr (hypothetically), would it still be the NFL's fault for not agreeing to their terms and hiring refs that will work for a fair price?
at this point yes. if i was a union ref today i am on the phone stating i want 1 million per game, or you can keep having catastrophes like last night. the outcome of last nights game puts the refs in a very good negotiating position.I'm just sick of ppl blaming the NFL for not getting back the union refs, how about we blame the union refs for refusing to play without their demands. Should the NFL simply give them whatever the want? Again, this is killing me...:headroll:I hope Seattle wins wild card by 1 game over Pack. So long as it means the Vikings got in the playoffs.
