Smoking my first Tatuaje. This one is a Fausto.
Interesting choice for first tat. If you don't like it don't write off the rest of the line. Lots of tat lovers don't care for the fausto, but lots still do. It seems to be a cigar that people either like or don't. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of middle ground on it.
I was inquiring about some pipe tobacco at a local cigar lounge, and I figured I'd stroll through the humidor. They didn't have a big selection of Tats, so I grabbed this one. Later on I pulled up some info about it. Found out, yeah, it's one of their fuller bodied smokes. Well, I like it!
Awesome!! Just wanted to make sure you didn't get turned off to what I think is one of the best cigar brands out there! I love most of the stuff Pete puts out, mostly the Miami series (brown labels).
I will definitely try more tats. Any suggestions on other blends?
Brown label, Series P, Reverva, anything with the sumatra wrapper (capa)... any of them!!! lol

Brown label Noella's, The corojo 2012 reserva is great, those are my 2 favorite normal releases he does. Have not tried any of the normal releases with the sumatra wrapper....but I look forward to trying some!

EDIT: damn flavorful! reminds me of my years baking, like good hearty pumpernickel. anyone want to do me the courtesy of pairing this with a dram of rye whiskey? o) let me know!
