Face off:
No clear winner, both were excellent with their own characteristics. I think BCS is the gold standard for bourbon barrel stouts so the Black Note had a lot to live up. It did. It was very good but in a different way. Creamier, smoother, whereas the BCS is more bourbon forward.
The only problem is finding more Black Note! Not easy, but I'm looking....

Ill try to find some black note. Bcbs is one of my favorites I'd love to taste something that rivals it. And if I'm not mistaken your having the sideways iPhone problem. Get the tappatalk app it's worth it.
