Welcome from Kent, WA! :tiphat: Fantastic introduction and you wont regret the LP box indulgence.
Don't listen to Nick. You'll regret the LP boxes just as soon as you realize they've spoiled you to anything lesser!

Welcome from another Washingtonian!

Great warm welcome from everyone, thank you.

Ballard has been my home for 4yrs, but my Puget Sound roots lay in Fairwood--were I tried that "Its a Boy!" cigar.

Its nice to see the Great NW represented so well on here, as well as our Brothers from Canada.

I went to my first Cigar Bar last month in the Rose City--Portland OR, called Greater Trumps. Its affiliated with McMenamins but is detached.
It was a great experience with the low lights and garage style doors opening up to the bustling sidewalk--very cool.
Over head heaters giving off a toasty warmth, I felt right at home with a MUWAT 11, a Bourbon and good friends.

I am jealous of my Sister city for this gem and angry at the nanny laws which protect us from these evils.
Well, I still have the Indian casinos left, and have yet to indulge in Snoqualmie's Lounge, which I hear is very nice.

I recently sampled the "noisy cricket"--cigardojo.com recommended. Padron 1926 no. 35 maduro. Good things do come in small packages, and this little engine that could does not disappoint.
For $12 bucks the amount of tobacco you get seems paltry, but I have no buyers remorse and may just go back. The Ortega serie D no.7 might be the only cigar I've had which burns with more vigor than this firecracker. Worth a look for sure.

Thanks again, Leafer out

Come south and check out Smokey Joes in Fife. It's pretty great.

^This. Smokey Joes is a superb lounge that is hidden upstairs of BJ's Bingo in Fife.

Lilninjabuddy and my Pyro neighbor, thank you for the tip on Smokey Joes, I'll check em out sooner than later, maybe even today.

I currently have some time off and I see no better way to enjoy a Tues. afternoon then relaxing in what looks to be an epic man cave--my GF might mildly disagree.

I'll let the employees know how I heard of their place, thanks again brothers.

Let us know when you come back to portland. We should meet up for a smoke or two! I live really close to a few good spots.
I had a lot of fun in P-town, you guys have some great breweries too. We never planed on going to Greater Trumps, but it sure was a nice surprise. I will be back before the Summer is over and I would be honored to smoke with my Portland Brothers.

Enjoy the fine smoking weather.

Good to see another WA BOTL on the boards! Let me know if you end up going to Smokey Joe's today as I will be there around 4-5pm tonight. :)

Sounds good, I'm looking forward to smoking a T-52. Dark hair, wearing a grey zip up fleece, hopefully drinking an IPA:cbig: ... Shift+R improves the quality of this image. Shift+A improves the quality of all images on this page.

Great suggestion!

Smokey Joe's was a lot of fun. One of the best cigar collections I've seen, coupled with outstanding service. I look forward to going back and sinking into a deep leather chair, wonderfully lost in my smoke.

A big thank you to AlohaStyle and friends for going out of their way to make a new brother feel welcomed.
Listening to gringo cigar adventures from Guatemala, Esteli, Cuba, etc...was truly fun and inspiring, not to mention the heavenly CC aroma enticing me to explore ever further down this great hole.

I realize now this Brotherhood of the Leaf expands far past cyber-space and hypotheticals, and is really about sharing/creating new experiences and communities with real world people, smoking actual burning leaves. What a concept and thanks again brothers.

Welcome from the 509, I have still yet to check out Smokey Joe's but once in a while I hit up Lit in the Snoqualmie casino when I'm on the west side.

I sure did, thanks again for the recommendation. Smoking in a comfortable environment really adds to the pleasure of a cigar, and that place was a true Man Cave.
Awesome. Glad you enjoyed your time!
I still want to check out LIT(looks pretty swanky and of course the great view). Smokey Joe's only took me 30min from Seattle, and I can see why Jonathan Drew chooses to frequent there when he's in town.

Chief,
Glad you enjoyed your time at Smokey Joes. They do a great job. When you plan on coming out to Lit, shoot me a message. I'm the manager there and would love to join you and any BOTL's for a cigar. Shoot me a message.

Josh
