Great warm welcome from everyone, thank you.
Ballard has been my home for 4yrs, but my Puget Sound roots lay in Fairwood--were I tried that "Its a Boy!" cigar.
Its nice to see the Great NW represented so well on here, as well as our Brothers from Canada.
I went to my first Cigar Bar last month in the Rose City--Portland OR, called Greater Trumps. Its affiliated with McMenamins but is detached.
It was a great experience with the low lights and garage style doors opening up to the bustling sidewalk--very cool.
Over head heaters giving off a toasty warmth, I felt right at home with a MUWAT 11, a Bourbon and good friends.
I am jealous of my Sister city for this gem and angry at the nanny laws which protect us from these evils.
Well, I still have the Indian casinos left, and have yet to indulge in Snoqualmie's Lounge, which I hear is very nice.
I recently sampled the "noisy cricket"--cigardojo.com recommended. Padron 1926 no. 35 maduro. Good things do come in small packages, and this little engine that could does not disappoint.
For $12 bucks the amount of tobacco you get seems paltry, but I have no buyers remorse and may just go back. The Ortega serie D no.7 might be the only cigar I've had which burns with more vigor than this firecracker. Worth a look for sure.
Thanks again, Leafer out
