Maybe an unfair question, Jon, but which vitola in the line is your favorite? Hoping you'll say the CG.Here's a new review ("Headley Grange--The Full Line") posted today via "Keeping Your Man Card:"

bigbwalls - Good question...tough to answer. My favorite vitola has always been 5 5/8 x 46--and that shape (Corona Gorda) shines in the Headley Grange blend.
That said, the Hermoso no. 4 (5 x 48) is /amazing/ and you'd be hard-pressed to find a cigar in a 44RG that has the structure/intensity/flavor that the Eminentes has (5 1/4 x 44).

Maybe I'm crazy but I believe that the current release, the Estupendos, is billed as being trunk pressed. Maybe the rest of the line will be a more extreme trunk press? I dunno. Just repeating what I've read from multiple sources. This thread is discussing the next release, described as a trunk press. The trunk press squares up the cigar even more than the typical box press.I wouldn't say the press on the current size is extreme at all and it's being called a trunk press. The #4 and the Dobles sound good, but not wild about the extreme box press idea.

'Muricans! Bigger = Better!Fox06WRX - So glad you enjoyed...and I agree with you regarding the smaller RG. I've said it before and I'll say it again--the smaller RG (in this blend) focuses and intensifies the flavor profile.
I'm smoking an Eminentes this morning as I type this--ton 'o flavor and structure for a cigar that is 5 1/4 x 44. When I smoke a cigar like this, for the life of me I can NOT wrap my head around the popularity of the 6 x 60s, 7 x 70s, etc., etc.

When i first started i always was looking to get the most tobacco for my buck, if i had only known what i was missing, i think this is how alot of people see it. plus when uneducated consumers see cigars on tv or movies they are almost all churchills and big rg so i think that plays into it.'Muricans!
