Been smoking a lot of 1/2 bowls lately to try stuff out. I keep coming back to the entire 4 generations line, Frog Morton Cellar, Escudo, and I just can't seem to get enough Dunhill Nightcap.

Finally opened my bag of Penzance and crammed my Tsutomu Fukashiro sandblasted Rhodesian full. Really digging it, and probably the first time I've ever been aware of real complexity in pipe tobacco.

Had some Navy Flake and Nightcap in this pipe afterward, not the same. Considering dedicating a pipe to Penzance LOL.
Is Penzance really that amazing ? Also how HTF is it?

Very very good, would not say amazing yet. It's my #1 favorite pipe baccy now though. AFAIK extremely HTF, like Dirty Rat HTF.

Yes it is, its my all time favorite.
How HTF? Depends, what are you willing to spend? And that by no means was an offer from me to sell you any, but if you are willing to spend WAY more than it is when its in stock, it can be had.

Penzance is a daily thing now. I break it up with royal yacht or night cap a couple times a week. I haven't been lucky with it online so I'm paying 50 to 75 dollars depending on the b&m for the 8oz bag. Love it though.
I like it dried for a day in open air. Also, when its not dry, I started lighting a bowl then letting it go out and come back an hour later. It's awesome this way. Like the sweet spot in a good stogie.
