Where you hiding the case? Just two?
No case Cliff. Glad too, that Positive Contact was awful
So glad I passed (a number of times). When I saw the label said brewed with cider or something I was kinda wondering how well that could work.
Yeah, there are a few ciders out there that are decent, but this ain't one of em. I more so tried it because of the Dan the Automator tie-in with the whole "music series" thing. It only had a slight apple taste and half the bottle got poured down the drain. I can only remember 2 beers in recent years I couldn't finish, and they were both from DFH. Think I will just stick to their "Minute" brews(and various off-shoots of those), Worldwide Stout and Bitches Brew.
Their worldwide is the shit! :D

Hahaha! I just finished off their Devil's cut last night.. Its okay for that price point. I shared the bottle
with a buddy of mine. Never tried the knob creek before. Maybe I should. :)
once you get past the beam logo, it gets interesting. you really should try basil, bakers, bookers, and knob. also ri1 doesn't suck either, but it's not bourbon so doesn't really count.

and yes, for those keeping score at home, i just told whodeeni to try the knob. o)

Here's a fun fact... Buffalo Trace reduce the alcohol content to 40%ABV to help reduce the excise that retailers have to pay when bringing it into Australia. Awesome hey? That little bottle is the original 45% though ;)
Supposedly, there was a big backlash here when Maker's Mark tried to reduce the alcohol content from 45% down to 42%. I think that lasted for a week or two

Quick jaunt to okc yielded a bomber of mustang imperial court stout & a six of caldera ipa Thanks !
I went through a 6 pack recently. Picked up a buttery or cheesy aspect on the smell and taste through all cans. Just curious if you do too.

All good choices. For the price KC is good sipping bourbon.

Buttery IPA sounds kind of gross, if you could taste the butter through the hops and bitterness there's an issue. I have drank some old ass stale stuff because not all breweries date their bottles. Then unscrupulous bottle shop owners put them on the shelf to sell to the unsuspecting public giving themselves and the brewery a bad name rather than trashing it or sending it back to the brewery. I haven't had it happen in a long time though because I stopped buying undated bottles.
