Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired in a well-worn Tinsky. Have not picked up a pipe for a number of months, but tonight seemed to call for it.

Breaking in the new Brigham with some Mac Baren Latakia Blend. Strange name for a blend that isn't at all Latakia dominant (definitely more condimental), but a good blend nonetheless.

Almost grabbed a tin of that the other day. Any good?
Smooth VA with a bit of burley and a little perique. Definitely worth giving it a try. No or very little bite. Nice change of pace. It has not disappointed me yet.

McClelland 3 Oaks Syrian in my big boy Sands. Syrian Latakia is like pure, uncut crack rock! Wow, what a great blend!

4noggins harvest moon in one of my peteys, digging the lat and burley, watching the rain and traffic.
Bowl of Pirate Kake in the cob this morn! Thank goodness for the day off after the 4th!
Ive been burning through some black cavendish of unknown origin that gavin bombed me with several months back over the past few days.... REALLY GOOD STUFF! Ive got to find out exactly what this stuff is... just a slight hint of sweetness to it... not too powerful.. but enough vitimin N to let you know its there.. and burns really well in a couple of my small bowl pipes (ive got a small meer... and a small briar (unknown make) that I grab on those "20 minute smoke" days...).....

Pretty mild English blend. Latakia smokiness in the background. Refined, creamy & campfire-ish notes. Very good. I haven't found a McClelland blend that I don't like either. Wilderness is my new favorite of theirs.What's that taste like?
