Settle time after shipping?

Hey guys wondering how long everyone lets their sticks settle after receiving them in trade?
Say shipped in the standard zip locks?

Excited to set some fires!...but don't want to lose out, especially when trying say; my first LP:ccool:

I wait at least a couple weeks for a 1-2 day shipping. A month for 3-4 days shipping. A lot of it depends on the weather as much as being bounced around.

sounds good i was thinking at least 1-2 weeks, im a lucky one who lives in an area that likes to hang out around 70% humidity but never knew how the shipping would effect them

2 weeks generally works well for me. I keep my winedor at 66 degrees and 69%. Seems like 2 weeks is basically the magic time when my sticks are nice and refreshed.

If its just a fiver I don't bother with any waiting period. I never had an issue smoking one right out of the mail.

At first I wondered about the resting, but as you start piling up sticks the couple weeks or months of rest after acquiring is a lil easier. Well it's also easier if you bury them in the back or bottom of the humi. That's where they sleep best!

During the winter months, I'll smoke right away. In the summer, I usually give them a week for every day in air, up to a month.

Seems to work for me. I think they get shocked sometimes by heat, but cold seems to have little effect.

Depends on what I ordered and why but my frequency is not like I've seen here. Ill easily go two weeks without smoking anything much less an order that just came in and may be fatigued in some way. For any order I make I've got a bunch of "can't wait to get my hands on" in the humi already

Well thank you to some generous brothers on here my humi is starting to fill up! Looks like ill burn through some of my B&M finds for a couple weeks!

This thread was super helpful. I was gonna make in about this very thing. Good thing I looked first! I placed an order of about 50 sticks from famous smoke last Wednesday and it was supposed to be next day but they messed it up and now I won't have them till the 16th according to tracking. Guess I will have to let the hem sit for a month. I dont know if I can wait!!!!! Ahhhh.

I placed an order of about 50 sticks from famous smoke last Wednesday and it was supposed to be next day but they messed it up and now I won't have them till the 16th according to tracking. Guess I will have to let the hem sit for a month. I dont know if I can wait!!!!! Ahhhh.

Ah that's too bad man nothing worse than extending the anticipation. Glad it helped you also!

Just smoke them. What's the worst that could happen?
