I got the E815 and love it. I am very rough on my phones and this one has taking a serious beating and still going strong. In December when I renew my contract I will get the Razr. The only difference between the 2 is the size.

I thought about getting the new Moto Q, but I don't want to pay for a internet data package to surf the net and check email on top of my 2 phones now.

I do a lot of research here. The forums are pretty informative.

My brother-in-law has the Motorola Q and it's nice.
Can do all sorts of cool stuff with the internet on it and connect it to your PC to sync. it up. It will charge off of your computer too when you connect it.

Got the Razr about a year ago and love it. I've heard complaints about dropped calls, but my experience has been pretty good. Verizon offers excellent coverage.

My Dad picked up the Razr. I wanted something a bit more traditional looking. How is the battery life on the Razr?

Snagged the Treo 650 PDA phone from someone here on BOTL and I love the thing!

The other good smartphone if you want one is the one Verizon puts their own brand name on that has a keyboard that slides out. Otherwise I would say go with a samsung or LG because motorola phones really aren't what they used to be.

I've got the Pocket PC for work and almost love it. One draw back is call and ringer volumes- I can't hear them. Added a program that allows customizing of the rings and that has helped.
Am paying ~$50 for the data service- Text messages are extra.

Imagine our surprise- we got the smartphone to use with a system that sends out alerts when we have equipment issues, we were told they are data and would be included- we installed the sytem and tested it. We sent over 500 alerts to each of 3 phones over a 2 week period- when the bill came the conversations with Verizon got ugly

My sister just got the 8300. It looks like a great phone.

I went with the Samsung A930. My friend has it, likes it a lot and I like the look.

There are a ton of rebates right now with their phones which is always nice.

Talked with the store rep- no luck:cursing:
Talked with the Customer Service number- No luck:boxing:
Visited the store and talked with the manager :cursing: :boxing: :help: He made it right.

We added text messaging for a fixed amount each month. I have found the only way to get anything accomplished with Verizon or Altell is to visit a store in person and speak with, at minimum, the manager.

Hopefully I will never need to know that

Funny thing, my dad dropped his razr in the toilet, flushed it, jammed the main, the plumber got it out. waited one week and it worked. Smelled funny tho. Was funny to watch him tell the story at the cingular store.
