I was wonder what they were stuffed with too.

Sounds like a good time, beer, food, cigars and good friends. you can never go wrong with that combo.

Stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon. Mozz would be good though. At the end of the night (ie drunk), we even thought about peanut butter....doesn't seem to be a good idea today.

Nice pics - looked like fun.

Anything wrapped in bacon is usually pretty good.

Goes to show you why the pig is such a great animal - you get bacon AND ham from the same animal!

Hmmm....my group of buddies throw a bigassed Crawfish boil every year (during season, of course). The rest of the year, we just do BBQs. But a crab boil is something we've never done....I'll have to look into that, seems fun!

We did the crawfish boil a few times last season. They were expensive, so it was kept to a minimum. IMO Crab has really gone down hill. Quality of frozen is (usually) good I admit, but since growing up in Mobile, AL I have found good quality fresh crab is hard to find.

Who knows..... if you do buy the frozen snow, king, etc...it could have been caught by the Northwestern. Go Hansen Bro's!

I grew up about 30 minutes from the Louisiana border...I was 15 minutes away from a gator-filled swamp. And I like my bugs like I like my catfish: muddy! :crosseyed

I had a bud who lives outside Monroe and he came up here to Dallas three weeks ago; he brought a whole mess of boudin. About 30 of us sat on the back deck, smoked cigars, drank cheap beer, went swimming, and ate boudin sausage till we nearly puked.

It was an outstanding evening.
