Wha'ts your commute like?

7.5 minutes to office but then I have to visit stores which is roughly 44 miles depending on the order. I have one store 68 miles away, but I don't visit it everyday.

I work in Phoenix. It's about... 25 miles away. Car's out so I'm carpooling with the roommate's woman. Takes about 30 minutes in the HOV lane. When I had a car it took an hour just by myself. I'm looking for something closer to home. Possibly work at Intel in their cafe, something closer, anything closer.

According to google maps my commute is 16.3 miles only 1.5 of it is off of the interstate.
My morning drive takes about 30-45 minutes on good days. My afternoon drive can be as short as 12 minutes, assuming that a police car is not acting as a pace car leading us around I465.

Tom, I do a ton of work at the airports here...

My commute is about 22 mi, door-to-door... Can't complain about the distance. Time-wise, it's like 35 minutes getting here, and sometimes up to an hour going home (Over the Tri-Borough, Up the FDR, and Over the GWB...)

When I took control of the board of directors of the company that bought mine last year, I went looking for less expensive digs. We were in a high rise with a viewof the ocean for $38,000 a month. I found a space that was used by a bust dot com company at a nearby municipal airport for $4,000 a month. BIg open office, lots of windows but no view of the ocean. Lots more money in our pockets.
