No cable, so I haven't watched any of this. However, I'm very intrigued by this mini Seinfeld episode I'm seeing chatter about. Anybody care to explain?
Same. I gave up on cable earlier this year. For hockey I go to a sports bar.

And for everything else? Hulu/netflix/amazon prime/pirate bay.

Though I'll probably watch all the commercials on YouTube tomorrow
We gave up cable television a little over a yea ago. We save over $1000 a year. We bought a Roku device and pay for Netflix and Hulu Plus. There's just a few things - like maybe three shows - that I can't watch. But, in the end, it's just TV so who cares.

Except for hockey - I have to go to a bar or my B&M and enjoy a cigar to watch the game, unless I find an online stream (which is pretty bad quality)
Fox Sports provided free streaming video.. That's how we watched.. Just plugged the laptop into the tv via an HDMI cable.. And voila! Superbowl..

It was fantastic. And Im not even a Bruno fan. That drum solo to start was nasty
This. I thought that drum solo was the shit. Dudes got some major talent. And RHCP sounded good. Was hoping or a little more from them, but all in all, best I remember in years.

The musical and audio quality of tonight's halftime show was better than the last 10 years. Easily. Mars is a talented stud. RHCP were also still in tune after all these years. They were in shape or beyond it for their age. Not looking like their skin was going to fall off. And both bands looked like they were having the time of their lives. Not just acting to get paid. I would of paid just to be there for that concert. Not the game.
i agree, when Flea came out bouncing around like a madman I looked up how old he is and we are the same age. If I bounced and head banged like that I would be in traction for a month!

Never heard of Bruno Mars before Super Bowl run-up. And I'm a huge RHCP fan.....that said, I thought Bruno Mars was outstanding -- classy and entertaining. RHCP was a poor mash-up and actually dropped the classiness a few notches. Still, I thought it was far more entertaining than any I can recall...except maybe the Who....

I have been a fan of Bruno because of his respect of old real music. Personally love his style and his performances pay homage to a musical era I loved, the '50s & '60s. He came out actually played instruments and sang as did the RHCP.

It was a bit strange to see it being 2014 and yet the style was old with music that didn't make sense for a testosterone fueled event.

I prefer Beyonce from last year, it seems most commenters on YouTube agree with me from what I can tell.

I'm not a fan but i agree. i saw him on one of those award shows and clearly see him as a standout, playing instruments signing and dancing. There is a degree of talent required to do that, which i can respect, even if it doesnt fall in line with my personal tastes.

50/60 music era was by far the best.

Black Eyed Peas was worse. At least Mars didn't seem to be lip syncing.

I thought it was one of the best in the last 10 years as well.

I also read a post from Ted Nugent and he was of the same mind, not that it matters, but for a Rocker to come out and say it was great puts his perspective on it.

It was a good show because Bruno Mars and Chilli Peppers actually wanted to be there and it showed in there performance. I'm not a huge fan of bruno mars i watched to see the RHCP but Mars put on a hell of a show.
