I usually get funny looks cause I'm so young, or someone will actually tell me I look fun y smoking a cigar or cob cause of my age.

Last weekend I was at the park with my dog and was halfway through a diesel when this girl comes out of nowhere and lights up a cigarette and starts talking to me. She asks if it's a Cuban and I go tell her "no, it's a diesel, not all cigars are made in cuba". She ignored all the information I told her and just keep talking about how her mother smokes cubans. So I ask her what kind and she says "I don't know the brand, they're cherry flscored though". About an hour of her talking passes and I tell her I'm going home, and as I'm leaving she stops me and tells me she wants to take a picture to send her mom.

One that I get frequently when I'm smoking my cob is when teens will ask me if it's weed. Morons
Oh yes, this. All the weird experiences I have simply due to my age... sigh. Sadly, it applies to more hobbies than just cigars for me.

Early on in my cigar smoking life, I was really loving Davidoff Millenium Lonsdales (still do actually) and my mom asked me how much I paid for the cigar. The conversation went EXACTLY like this:

Mom: How much did you pay for that cigar?
Me: Somewhere around $18 or so.
Mom: $20 for a cigar? What a waste of money! You should have just rolled a $20 bill up, set it on fire and smoked that.
Me: Get a $20 bill to taste like this cigar does and I'll set my entire paycheck on fire. I don't care how much it cost, I'm enjoying it.
Mom: I guess that's a good point.

Was she hot?
Maaaaan, that was the WORST part. She was effing 29, and I'm not opposed to thick girls, but she was just plain fat and shaped like a bowling pin. She had like a 5 o clock shadow, and I also forgot to mention that she said she used to do crack. I'm just too nice of a person to have told her to leave me alone

I love the bro-douche-asaurus guy at my buddy's birthday part that said, "dude, thats not cuban? Well, bro, I can hook you up... There is this place downtown ("cuban cigar factory") where they make them. I know those dudes. They hook it up fat."

1) The only time I saw anyone making anything there, the guy looked like he was wrapping "sandwiches"

2) They taste like shit.

3) The place also sells DPG blues for close to 15/piece.

...hookin' it up fat.

I was at a bachelor party smoking a stick. A guy asked me if it was any good...i said yes its delicious. He proceeds to say "can i smoke some?"

Lol, i immediately said no thinking he was joking...he wasn't hahaha
Did you give him a cigar when you learned he wasn't joking?

I've always wanted to try one but of course those are expensive.. the price is more than 18 where I look though. What are the typical flavors and textures of a DAvidoff would you say, and in particular with the millenium blend? I've heard AVO is similar, what about them?

What kinda cigar is that?
Is that a Cuban cigar?
No it's not.
Yeah right.
Can I try it?

Me:
No.

This is the point I would have offered them a cigar.

Most recent "excuse me can I have the end when your done? my husband likes to smoke them in his pipe"- complete stranger. This older lady was actually walking past my house and saw me lighting the cigar and must have come back about 40 min later to see if I was done, then walked all the way up my drive way waved and asked me that. She's been back twice since.....
That's pretty cool :). I'd bomb granny with a fiver and tell her to chop 'em up for gramps.
I've heard about some people being really into smoking the butts of the cigars in their pipes. I mean REALLY into them.

Lol I was smoking a Flor de Las at a shop and these two girls come in looking for a cigar for an upcoming wedding. Both of them have their noses plugged and a "why are you doing that?!?" face... IM IN A F*CKING CIGAR LOUNGE!!!
After they find the cigars they want one girl says, "I'm going to the car, I can't stand this smoke." Like, really? What do you expect walking into a cigar shop?
I feel for ya, but it's understandable that they may have just been in there to get their father or boyfriend something and they really didn't like the smoke in itself.

Davi's aren't the most complex tasting stick flavor wise honestly. The LP are far more complex in terms of a flavor profile. But what I do love about Davidoff is that they are the most consistent cigar I've ever had. I've never had a bad one....flavor or burn wise. I know exactly what to expect when I light one up and I'm never disappointed. Flavor wise, I get a lot of cedar, some coffee / mocha comes through at times and leather...at least in the Millenium line. The Puro D'or has replaced it as my favorite Davi. BTW, the $18 price point was back about 7 years ago. They are now well over $20 a stick for the same size.

As far as AVO's go, I do enjoy them but it's been a while since I've smoked one....probably 2 years or so. If I remember correctly, Davidoff makes AVO's or controls the blend, so they too are consistent. I don't remember too much about the flavor profile though....sorry.

New story!

Went to the laundromat to wash my work clothes. Was out sitting on a bench having a smoke when these two homeless guys carrying everything they have on em in a roller cooler stop to wash their clothes as well. They both come outside splitting a giant bud ice between them and ask me if I'm smoking a giant blunt. I laugh and tell em it's a just a regular cigar. They offer me a drink, and I decline. So the talk for awhile and people watch the church's chicken across from us. From first impressions you'd think they were just bums who weren't worth shit, but after our hour or so long talk they seemed like good guys. Funny though, how I met em over them thinking my cigar was was a big blunt.

People prefer to love the scraps that get swept off the floor. I won't say anything about the weed cause I'd still smoke it if I could
