Thx for all the replies fellas .
I'll try answer all here.
Yes humi seasoned and hygros calibrated .
Yes I can fill it with more sticks haha!! I've got a NC 15 sampler on its way and a newb trade on here in the pipelines so more on there way ( happy days ) . Yeh I'd say they were wet too so will try the dry box idea , I'll also move humi to a cooler location. They're def legit . Is there a cigar friendly silicon/mastic I can use to seal the analogue hygro in ?? I'm a carpenter so will a food grade kitchen silicon do it ? They do smell will its fumes contaminate cigars ?

Thx heaps BOTL ;)
goto walmart and get some Aquarium sealant its none toxic and no odder

4 out of 5 have had this same issue , always going out , not burning right, bitter etc , 1 actually exploding out so
Do you know the date on the box? They sound green to me. Cubans need ALOT (couple years in some instances) of rest they are nothing like NC which are aged before shipment.

I have the exact same humidor and ive always head trouble with it. I recently picked up a cooler at a garage sale in great condition and passed the paper tested so thats what I will be moving to.

My advice would be to toss the humidor all together and get yourself a cooler. Cheaper and so much more reliable than a glass-top humidor!

In Canada I find Cubans have terrible burn issues in the winter months. Unless I'm smoking in a reasonably climate controlled smoking room, late spring or summer is the only time I'll get a good burn.

Although, if the sealing with an aquarium-grade sealant does a decent job, I'd say keep it and fill it with yard-gars for the friends and family who come over and want to smoke a cigar. Like keeping a highly visible wine fridge with Two Buck Chuck.

I'd still switch to a tupperdor. I'm guessing just about everyone has clean Tupperware around their home. Especially with a smaller collection.(under a box or so)
Him Going to a cooler solves nothing.(too large) him using aquarium sealant just cost time and money. He can always buy a nicer humi or cooler if his collection grows. But to each their own.

Yeh date is May 13 was a 10 box
If possible I'd like to keep humi silicon or Teflon tape is bugger all $$$ if that fixes probs . Heartfelt responded today but I can't checkout and ship to Australia won't let me choose was going for a medium tube of beads , that whole process is taking for ever!! Reading was 72 today so still highish . Obviously fluctuating a lot . Like the humi out and on show a Tupperware cont or eski etc just wouldn't happen not just looks not enough continued rolling inventory if I can stay above 50 sticks then this would be a possibility of a tupperdoir or coolerdoor then use humi as dry box but we'll see what happens with silicon or tef tape new spot where it's placed plus new cigars coming ,,,, if no good maybe new humi ... I was warned about a glass top but at least it was a starting point if it doesn't work out ill have all the gear humi beads , cutter lighter, digi hygro/thermo , dry box , and I'll buy new 50 ct ... Keep ya'll posted

IMO These things are no where near ready man, they aren't even a year old!! You shouldnt be touching anymore till at least summer and even then thats a little early. CC's are shipped once rolled and arent given any drying time like NC cigars, so all drying and aging is done by the consumer (unless purchased from somewhere that aged them for you but the box stamp doesnt lie). Good luck brother!!

You do not need to let these cigars rest/age more because of the burn issue you described. There are many 2013 Cuban cigars that are smoking well right now. The cigars you have are now 10 months old and that would have absolutely nothing to do with how it burns. Sure it's possible the age can affect the taste/flavor if it's going through a sick period, but not the burn. A 10-month old cigar's burn would only be affected if it was made poorly (as in under filled etc), smoking outside in windy/humid temps, or it's storage conditions aren't ideal... like a high Rh etc.

And the box code is when the cigars were rolled, it doesn't prove the age of the tobacco. Either way, age of the tobacco would not affect the burn if properly stored unless you smoked it fresh off the rolling table from fresh tobacco.

If you're asking me, you are definitely dealing with a cigar that has too much moisture... been stored in too much humidity.

Just let them rest a few more months, lower the RH and revisit, they clearly aren't ready to smoke.

Cuban cigars are not rolled "green". They are cured and aged for a minumum of 180days. Some lines up to five years. Habanos has large rooms in the factories where 50ct wheels are stored and checked often for aging and the general "bouquet" of bundles. Many are released at 180 days of aging some are held much longer.
Most important: (going to cap this for a reason)
HABANOS BOX CODES/DATES ARE FROM WHEN A CERTAIN CIGAR WAS BOXED. NOT WHEN IT WAS ROLLED.
There for they can sit in aging rooms for various amounts of time. Only the torcedor (factory GM) decides when certain wheels are ready. Then they are resorted and boxed. Ryan couldn't be more right in his estimation. It's a humidity issue. But I wouldn't expect anything else as he's done a personal write up for us here from his trip to Cuba. First hand knowledge is invaluable.....

In my limited knowledge and from what I've seen every couple of days my humidity has been to high .....

I used plumbers tape to put around my analogue hygro this morning so will see how that goes ....

Read some where on here about heart felt beads by a viper guy ??? Might try and place an order if he sends to oz

All cigars should be here in a fort night too so hopefully the tape ( if that's where leak is ?) and more inventory helps steady Rh if not new humi
