Problem solved with this one Tim.Haven't made one myself, but there are several places that make/sell them. Other than the look, it seems an odd way of storing as you would get more per container if they were flat/wide, v. tall/thin.
ushog (I think) just posted a pic of one he madeHas anybody made a humidor out of a 50 cal ammo can?
Looks like that dude is storing acids right next to regular cigars. Lol.Same as Tim, never built one but have seen some nice ones done. The ones I have followed or checked out are from Ammodor, some good looking stuff and would be great for a man cave.

What's up guys? Thanks for all the comments. You've brought up a good point about the cleanliness of ammo boxes - it's not recommended that anyone just grab an old ammo can and turn it into a humidor. Most are dirty and stinky to say the least. Doing so will likely ruin your cigars and could even make you sick…or worse.I've never met an ammo can that didn't stink something fierce, but that one's pretty awesome.
Those are just props for photo purposes - empty boxes.Looks like that dude is storing acids right next to regular cigars. Lol.
