Peter heinrichs dark strong is your friendA bowl of GLP Triple Play. Great smoke I love the flavor. I need more blends with dark fired.....
Thanks blunk(Josh)!
I've got a little of that too, ok as a mixer, but IMHO not to be smoked on its own, it's one of the finest thin cut tobaccos I've ever seen, almost fluffyI will seek it out. Right now I have my eyes on Gawith Kendal Kentucky.
Why do you say good as a mixer vs smoke on its own? Too much dark fired in yo face or something? I like Brown rope by itself for the strength, wish it had some dark fired to it as well.I've got a little of that too, ok as a mixer, but IMHO not to be smoked on its own, it's one of the finest thin cut tobaccos I've ever seen, almost fluffyI will seek it out. Those Dracs are definitely an attractive pipe!New Peterson Dracula with sextant. Happy day. And I thought cigars were addicting...
It smokes great too, but I don't have a lot to compare it to and this was it's maiden voyage... HaThose Dracs are definitely an attractive pipe!New Peterson Dracula with sextant. Happy day. And I thought cigars were addicting...
Yes a little too much in your face, I smoked one bowl by itself and didn't care for it, it definately has strength and I enjoyed adding it to other blends for that and to add a little body/ dark fired flavors, I too have smoked brown rope, and the rum/maple/black Irish x and enjoy them, they are some of the strongest/ fullest body tobaccos for me, but the Kendall ky just seemed one dimensional and I didn't like that one dimension without the addition of vas etcWhy do you say good as a mixer vs smoke on its own?
