Do I ask for a Reshipment?

Hey guys, I ordered some cigars from a well known site.. I don't want to call them out since I haven't (decided) given them the chance to rectify the situation. I want all of your opinions.

I received the cigars, which seem severely over humidified (could be the weather) there are quite a few that are squeezed flat (see pictures) and 3-4 that seem to have white mold forming on the foot.

Do I ask for Reshipment?? I've never had an issue like this.

Not sure if the cigars being squeezed flat will effect the smoking of them, the humidity can be rectified and I could chop off a 1/4 inch of the foot.

Seems I shouldn't have to do any of this. Any suggestions on what you've done in past similar situations? Thanks guys.

The mold is clear as day brother keep that crap far away from any of your smokes. make sure you wash ur hands before handling anything in or near your humi.

Sure, in theory you could salvage them, but is it something you want to do? If they're a well known site, they should handle the issue as such. Cigars are expensive, and dealing with issues that are the sellers fault would be silly, imo, especially if they can affect how they smoke. You'd also be giving them a heads up on a potential issue that they don't know about regarding their storage.

Yeah, I would call them and let them know and tell them you want a refund or reship. Hard to believe they wouldn't catch that when shipping. Personally, I would be leery of a reship if they are sending from the same location.

I called and they emailed me a return shipping label and said they would be sure to check the quality before they shipped out again. So we will see. And I thought the same thing Craig, the box wasn't damaged and it seemed packed well. Maybe that's why they were on sale... I let ya'll know how it turns out.

I was talking about transferring the mold from the affected cigars to your personal stash
