Hahaha... I thought I asked you for a pic, then at the other forum, Im looking all around for my question and was like, wth? Where did my post go....I don't have a picture of the top of the box, I had Marvin sign it. I will take one this weekend.
I was wondering this as well, last Halloween event here in FL they gave away one as well. Also feel like the bands would have been a little more yellowed for that amount of time... oh well, congrats on your third big win! Going to try for number 4 next time? That is the second box of those original releases they have given away in the DFW area in the past couple of months. How many of those OR boxes are sitting around?
YES! I have to go until my streak is broken. I think the next one is in October at the Keller location.I was wondering this as well, last Halloween event here in FL they gave away one as well. I might have had a few old 9s and maybe a box like he won and I find them fantastic with that kind of age. (Again, I'm talking pre-2010 liga so if you are speaking about the later ones, I have no experience with those.)Congrats on the awesome win, but with that said, from mine and many other's experiences, 9s don't age very well. They tend to mellow out way too much after a couple years. If you are into mild cigars, you'll probably enjoy these very much. But, if you decide to trade or sell these, please let folks know that they are 7 years old. Some may not care, others will.
and Congrats to the OP on the win.
I was just trying to pass on some info and personal experience, but now that I re-read my post, I came across as a total a**. I had no intention to take away from Hambone's fantastic win. My apologies, Hambone. Congrats again on a killer win. Enjoy!I might have had a few old 9s and maybe a box like he won and I find them fantastic with that kind of age. you pay more than retail for LPs?Congrats! Is that a cab of the original LP9 release or a new LE offering? Last I checked the LP OR 9 cab was going for $1000 on ebay, not that I reco selling it. SMOKE THEM! They are much more awesome than "normal" LP9s, especially now. I bought a cab in 2010 for the expected 2x box price and they continue to deliver.
