Last year was a brutal winter for us and I spent once a week at my local B&M but their ventilation is horrible. Of course, as humid as our summer gets, you can end up with burn issues of larger sticks. However, I have a couple of options this Winter. There is a new Burning Leaf lounge not too far from me and I've been told the air exchange is pretty good. An extra 20 minutes of driving and I can meet Romulus Cogswell at La Vita and it's not been smoky the times I've been, and, of course, CdM

So this Winter season, I hope to make more trips to area B&Ms
Leaf is a great place to smoke but you might run into some unsavory characters :)

The best is late night in the summer when the sun goes down. Fall is great because it is nice outside without being too hot. Winters in the northeast are just miserable. I have to travel like 20minutes to the BM and then 20minutes back. Figure an hour for a smoke means almost two hours away. With a small child, one on the way and the wife, it is not always practical. Usually means once a month during a cigar event.
Yea, for me Winter is about replenishing my stock and Summer is about depleting it. I've had a "successful" Summer so now to start working on the Winter replenishment.

I hear ya! I prefer to smoke outside. Even though I live in North Carolina, there are times when it's just too cold or miserable to be outside. (Yeah, yeah, my Boston blood has thinned) anyway, I do have a garage and was gifted a propane heater, which is great. Not sure if you have the storage space and it would be a hassle to lug that think inside and out all the time, but you might want to see what kind of camping equipment you can purchase or even a small fire pit on those days when no precip is falling and the wind isn't howling. Otherwise, like the rest of us that long for outdoor smoking, venture to one of the local BMs, hunker down and just wait out the winter!

Light it in the car, that way you're only gone an hour ;)

I smoke in the garage with the door open in the summer and with the door closed in the winter. North Dakota has 3 nice days to smoke outside per year.

I smoke outdoors year round because CALI.
What does a small village in Columbia have to do with smoking cigars in Los Angeles? ;)

Side note, my herfspot is open all winter long to anyone who won't creep out my wife or teach my kids new bad words.

I didn't know that Columbia University had villages. :)
Touche!
I've thought about it, and I've realized that I don't share your aversion to nicknames for places. Sorry, dude. Hope we can still be friends.

I personally can't wait for summer to end here in GA. It's 97° in the shade as I type, not including the heat index. This will be my first fall as a cigar smoker, but I'm thinking it will be prime time.

Another desert dweller looking forward to the cooler weather. If you aren't at the pool, lake, or river outdoor smoking in the summer sucks real hard. Luckily when there isn't water around we have several great cigar bars with excellent AC
