I already have more baccy than I'll probably ever smoke. I only partake once or twice per month, unfortunately. And I can't seem to stop "investing" in a ton of variety. Luckily baccy is fairly cheap and incredibly easy to store.

You and me both. I blame it on this forum, Badger & Blade forum, and Pipe Smokers Forum. :p

hey, look at it like this: it's hella easy to store for LONG term, cheap even for the best stuff, and if do you hit the magic threshold of the "the completed cellar", you can stay off the bidding sites and five pack samplers for decent burners and just pick up exactly the cigars you really want. honestly, it's saving you a fortune!!!

... yeah... my wife's not buying it either. sounded good, though. o)

I keep telling myself I'll be smoking the most amazing aged pipe tobacco as an old grey bearded man cause I keep buying more than I can smoke now and am investing as much in vas as English though I enjoy the latter more now

Or I'll have one helluva eBay sell off in 10-15 years

I'm telling myself the same thing. Then I decided to start blending my own plugs out of whole leaf and I burned through almost 3lbs or more of leaf just playing around making different plugs. Plus the store was out of dark fired leaf and burley when I bought so I'll have to reorder at some point. I figure after some aging time these plugs will be pretty awesome.

I have to stop visiting this forum. Every day I see a new pipe I absolutely *must* have.
LOL. I know exactly what you mean. All I had was a Peterson Aran System and a plain jane Stanwell before BOTL. Then BOTL caused me to surf YouTube...the rest is history...and a light wallet!

...But you have to get a Boswell pipe!
