You're right. Palm wood in the stem and mother of pearl.

@Grrr: that supply place is right near my house, they have a ton of stuff in there to keep you busy. I'm getting the lathe setup at my house next week, so we'll see what I can come up with here. Those folks are ridiculously friendly. You should see their walk-in briar selection; I'll snap some pictures for you next time you're in the market.

Found a small tobacco store that's carrys some pipe stuff. Not much but I picked up these three. Haven't tried any of them before. Going to go to a bigger place next week that has their own blends.

Very nice. I haven't tried the Toyal Yacht yet. I have that on my list to try before 2015. Would be nice to have a place local that sales real tobacco an not just the Old stand by oTC stuff....
