Unbanded is correct. Pretty sure it's not plume since that takes a few years to develop.

I saw this on several Tats last year. I also heard that the new Tennessee waltzes are sporting some glitter as well which makes sense since they are also coming from the My Father factory.

What cigar are you seeing this on Ramza?

That would be called plume. Outside shot its mold, but sounds like plume.
The first desktop humidor I tried to set up years ago got moldy. Definitely different. I would love to think it's plume, but some of these stocks are only a year old.

I have noticed it on a lot of tats. The last two were an epc and an intemperance. I didn't think about them all having darker wrappers. I might go through my entire cooler and look up what wrappers are like that.

I see this on the 2013 Noellas Reservas all the time. Not sure of others at the moment, but I smoke so many of these that I see the glitter there more often than not. Have heard about the mineral rich soils being the reason in the past as well. It is lovely, especially when the glitter is prominent in the ash as well.

I recently had a J21 that looked like a damn disco ball. Was super tasty though so I chalked it up to more of Pete Johnson voodoo. Very cool when it does happen however.

I've only ever seen in on broad leaf. Pete said that the farm he got the broad leaf for the 2011 TAA has such mineral rich soil that it looks like you have glitter on your pants after you've walked through it. I guess there's lots of mineral rich soil in Connecticut. Doesn't explain the habano on the j21 but I suspect the same thing, wherever it's grown. You see it, most of the time, on Pete's broad leaf. I suspect the same with the waltz, that's some really tasty leaf that reminds me of Pete's good stuff from 2009.

If it were from strippers, then Pete should use cigar names like "Anastasia", "Destiny", "Jade", and my favorite..."Chardonnay"

It would also make it easier to explain to the Wife that the glitter on my crotch came from a cigar.

The box of PL Panatelas I have is like this; covered in gold glitter, probably from the band. I name them things like "Cinnamon", "Glimmer", "Vanessica"; the list goes on.

Then I smoke them. :)

Husband - "I swear, the goddamn ash kept falling in my lap!"

Wife - "Ya, I'm sure she was all over your lap. Enjoy the couch! "

Stripper glitter.... Even if you get the Stripper perfume off you, you'll never get all the glitter off.
