Very correct, the pic I posted on 10/28 was a north. But the first PM you sent me was the day before on the 27th; maybe you can see into the future (which would be cool). Anyways, I'm not gonna blow up this thread anymore, let's just go smoke some cigars instead
Which one did you like better?
Both are excellent, but the southern is more on my level. I don't smoke a ton of full strength cigars.
Fair enough. I thought the north was epic. Good complexity and changed profile throughout. Perfect burn on both I smoked already.

My south arrive today and can't wait to try. If it's more medium then I'm really interested as I do like a lot of full strength sticks but also think the angels anvil was one of the top cigars this year and it's much more medium, so I think both MD will be up my alley :)
In my opinion, it's a medium stick. It has a lot of flavor with spice (just as Mr Huber mentioned). Most people may or may not agree, but I would say it is as strong as the AA and Four Kicks
Well....I can't wait :)

So I am in my front yard smoking my first Northies (many thanks to John: http://www.botl.org/community/forums/showthread.php/76699-JMPHOTOG-Sent-me-Northies!) and the UPS driver pulls up with my box from Nice Ash....I ask him, "More cigars?" Lol.

Lots of great, strong, straightforward tobacco, with walnuts and espresso. Burned like a charm, great draw. Reminded me of the El Corazon. Seemed pretty strong....I liked it a lot, but I think some rest will improve these even more.

Smoked my first northern today. Extremely nutty and medium/full pepper kick. Very nice draw. I'll be giving the others some rest before revisiting.

I see other folks saying that some rest will be kind to these sticks....Did anyone seem to think that they were allllllmost on the "too strong and/or too harsh" side??

I thought the north was great right away. Smooth and flavorful. Can't wait to get the south lit

Really enjoyed it. Not harsh at all. Little punch at the end but nothing terrible.

Ended up bursting in the middle and at the end...and a wonky burn through out...guessing this was just a humidity/construction issue, I'll see what happens when I burn the others.. Nice smoke none the less... Medium and smooth!

I know this probably isn't the best place to put this, my apologies. I am looking for a Mason Dixon north and south. Just one or two of each. I have plenty to trade, liga uf-13, rats, under crown pigs, viaje zombie, zombie antidote, skull crossbones cloudmaker, etc. please pm me if you can help.

May have better luck starting an ISO.

They are on sale at cigar federations website.
