Anyone got a link to that?
This is the link for aging in vacuum-sealed bags (vs. tins): http://www.glpease.com/Articles/vacuum.html

And here's one on aging: http://www.glpease.com/FAQ.html#AGE
Thanks for that, Rob. I've been doing method 2 with the vac bags, double sealing with air left inside. I'll have to keep an eye out for dry baccy around the edges. I don't foresee a problem, though, as I've been keeping the stash in a utility room that stays around 65°/65% year-round. Might have to eventually make some mass jar purchases though!
So… you need jars?

I think I'll buy four ounces of bulk and split it into two. One I'll seal in a vacuum bag (without removing the air but sealed) and the other I'll seal in a mason jar. Lord knows I have enough tobacco that I can wait a year or two before opening them and seeing if there's much of a difference. I may even write on them both "Open on Jan 1, 2018".
Do you all use FoodSaver bags/system?

For cooking and food storage. It had never occurred to me until this thread to use it for storage of baccy

Use the code SALE for 20% off the BnB Groupon.
That's $39.20 for a $100 gift certificate!
Save even more by getting a percentage cash back from going to Groupon through a shopping portal like ebates.com, fatwallet.com, discovercard.com, etc!
You can even "refer" yourself by setting up another email account and stack referral bonuses in to your savings.
Also, when you finally use the BnB gift certificate (after redeeming the Groupon) leave your purchase in your cart without checking out and they will sometimes send you a free shipping or percentage off coupon.
You can also always check retailmenot.com for any current BnB discount coupon codes.
Truly the cheapest baccy/pipes you're every going to find!
