More emp...... And some non moldy jackknife plug
Would smoking moldy tobacco be bad for your health? I figure the burning process should kill any spores...?
I wouldn't, things can still be carried in the smoke. I remember a story in the news, years ago, about a college student that came home to the farm on break, he burnt some poison ivy in a brush fire and got in the smoke. The poison ivy got inside his lungs and he ended up dying from it, so I wouldn't smoke any moldy baccy, but that's just me.

I've smoked cigars with white mold- wipe them off and smoke. I would smoke a plug pipe baccy like that if you can cut off the mold. The white mold doesn't worry me, it's the blue-green and black that I won't touch.

This being said I do find it odd we had two threads on the SAME blend within days. Makes me wonder if there was a bunch of spores in that batch of baccy. Weird to say the least. I would like Greg Pease to address it though- privately and see what he says. I may reach out to him.

I too would be interested, but it's a natural product and sometimes things just happen

As a note very tasty still

I'd love to hear what he says. From what I've read, he has an excellent reputation and wants to help out his customers.

SPC Mississippi River in my dad's old Carey Magic Inch briar. It hadn't been smoked in 20 years and I couldn't keep it lit long (a 'me' problem, not an 'it' problem), but it smoked great.

H&H Anni Kake on the way to work and MM Country Gentleman on the way home. Smoked both in my MM Patriot with Forever Stem.

HU Dockworker in a rock cob. This blend is unlike any other I've had. Tin note is very fruity. I pick up stewed fruit and raisin, but I've heard others describe tropical fruit. Chocolate. Earth. Quite a bit of spice. No topping, all from the tobacco. I'm having trouble not steady sipping on it because I keep getting more. This is the most complex yet balanced baccy I've ever smoked. I only wish I wasn't broke and could order more.

Would be nice to see the thoughts as well... I can say that my Tin was from SP and was dated 4/14. When I got the tobacco it was fine didn't have any issues that I could see, Besides the wood that I started to find when I starting to smoke it in a larger bowl and started to make larger cuts. I tried to send some information to GL. Peace but found the website contact part isn't working and they have said they are waiting for new address (P.O.) so no Snail mail even able to be sent. After 4+ email addresses that are good have been for many years wouldn't work I thought hummm lets try the dealer contact and see what happens and again didn't work. So then I went as far as adding a message on their FB to let them know the contact part of the website isn't working. Sadly; No reply. Anyway it is what it is.
