I usually use a bullet cutter, I just trim a little at a time until I get a good draw.

I agree and it annoys me as well. I am guessing it's because they want to profit off someone else's reputation and I think their copyrights don't hold up well here. If you notice most of the counter parts are complete crap that wouldn't hold up on their own. Anyone else know the answer?

My understanding is that the Cuban government took control of those storied Cuban brands, after Castro rose to power, and refused to compensate the families who owned them. So they escaped to the DR to continue making their own cigars under their own brands.

Theft, more or less. The cuban companies aren't recognized in the U.S. thanks to the embargo, so these American companies get to cash in on the name and reputation somebody else created.

It's a topic that actually pisses me off.

I like to smoke RyJ, Cohiba and sometimes Montecristos. They sell everywhere, even the convenience store!

I must admit, convenience stores only carry in-tubos RyJ and Monte, but all in CC. And its not all convenience stores either. But, hey, we have CCs in convenience stores
