So your gonna make me hunt it down. I see. Remember, I did find Dismal's birth year.Aw, I appreciate that. But right now at this time of year it just isn't in the budget. In a few months (when Christmas and both my kids' birthdays are out of the way), I'll start looking again. At this point, I don't see them climbing much higher in four to six months from where they are now.
No way I'll ever buy a pipe at $600!! That's 4 Boswell's or 3 to 4 Tinsky's worth of briar... or a new 12 gauge waterfowl shotgun...Ah, just found one - near mint and only $600. Ugh...
Off topic...those Ikon DE razors have been tempting me for two years now. But, as a die-hard wet shaver, DE razors from that year are fairly plentiful and well under the $100 mark.
Oh brother, I've focused really hard on not buying more razors! If I started doing that, I'd soon have as many razors as I do pipes and then shit gets real!Off topic...those Ikon DE razors have been tempting me for two years now.
Ha! I must have missed that.Yeah, but I found (with the help of @3/5King) H3rrington's addy after he moved and posted a picture of his mailbox with the street address.
Creepiest thing I've ever done! I wonder if I can find that thread...
Rekampip? Or however it's spelled.Picked up a Rock Cob off of Etsy. Eager to start breaking it in later tonight.
Chance of seeing more pics of this thing?Freehand Supply Co. Summit heavy waxed canvas pipe roll.
Yup, that's the guy.Rekampip? Or however it's spelled.

Thanks for the tip! Just rub it on the outside? Or do I run it through on a cleaner?Oh, and get some mineral oil for the bamboo every once in a while.
This was his instruction to me to prevent splitting because he leaves his bamboo natural: Pay most attention to the mortise surfaces and the face of the shank. You can run some through the inside and wipe the outside. Thanks for the tip! Just rub it on the outside? Or do I run it through on a cleaner?
Their picture quality is better than mine. LOL.Chance of seeing more pics of this thing?
Cool, thanks! This was his instruction to me to prevent splitting because he leaves his bamboo natural: Pay most attention to the mortise surfaces and the face of the shank. You can run some through the inside and wipe the outside.
In my experience it does make it look nicer. The biggest concern is having the end split though, which is why he really recommends it. Just be careful not to get any of the oil on the stone.
