I think I am just getting stupid! ROFL
I've really discovered the joy of restoring and repairing old pipes and there is a fairly low cost of entry for restoration.
I got a cheap pipe on Flea Bay that has some surface scratches and, I think, I paid about $5 for it. So I am going to take a stab at sanding away the finish, rusticating it, and adding a contrast stain to it.

I'd be lying if I said that I hadn't thought about it.
I still need to practice on a few more Flea Bay cheapies to get my techniques fully dialed in but then I may start doing some on a trade basis...

The results of my Black Friday shopping just arrived. To bad I have the flu and can't fire it up right away.
I send my clean up and repairs to Spillproof pipeworks. Dave is a true stand-up guy and is meticulous.

Savinelli Series III billiard(Apple? Not sure which shape it is.) from Pipe & Leaf (thanks Clint!), and two tobacco samples they threw in with the order. Really nice pipe for less than $50. Looking forward to seeing it change color over time.
